Statement of Core Values

Fully Devoted Disciples: We believe that full devotion to Jesus Christ is the goal of every believer (Luke 9:23)

Excellence: We believe that excellence in everything we do honors God and inspires people (I Corinthians 10:31)

Worship: We believe that distinct styles of worship can be incorporated in more than one worship service to meet the needs and preferences of ONE CHURCH (John 4:23-24)

Evangelism: We believe that lost people matter to God and should    matter to us (Matthew 28:19-20)

Kingdom Cooperation and Unselfishness: We believe that a local church must intentionally work with other churches, within the community, as well as within the fellowship of our Baptist conference, Converge      Worldwide, maximizing Kingdom goals and purposes (I Corinthians 12:21)

Stewardship: We believe that the stewardship of our time, talents and financial resources are a natural outgrowth of our discipleship (II Corinthians 9:6-8)

Prayer: We believe that prayer should under gird the body and every ministry of the church (Colossians 4:2)

Important Expressions of Ministry: While every individual has special needs, at the present time (2008) we are focusing our energies for      ministry in three key areas:

Children’s Ministry: We believe that a quality ministry to children and their families is of infinite importance (Mark 10:14)

Women’s Ministry: We believe that the unique needs of women should be addressed by an ever-growing core of godly women’s leaders (Titus 2:3-5)

Men’s Ministry: We believe that an intentional ministry to men needs to be integrated into the framework of our church (I Timothy 2:8)

Sports Ministry: We believe that a ministry of sports creates unique opportunities to share the Gospel with children, teens and adults – many who would not hear the Gospel in any other way (I Corinthians 9:22)
