Missions Support

We support many missionaries from around the world. This page is intended to help you find out about them. If you would like to contact one of them, please call the church office for their contact information. We hope this will foster mutual encouragement for both them and you. Please take the time to encourage a missionary today!

CONVERGE Worldwide Missionaries

Ruth Gollings – Ruth is working alongside Tijuana churches and Mexican women servant leaders to encourage them in various ministries of compassion and outreach. She teaches biblical principles for healthy living and parenting, helps families turn to Christ as their refuge from domestic violence, addictions and other problems.

Mary Larson – Mary ministers in Cebu, Philippines. She trains Filipinos to do missionary work overseas and as also manages the Guest House in Cebu.

Greg & Rebecca Parker - The Parkers minister in the beautiful country of Brazil by hosting and assisting short term missionary teams to serve the poor. Please think about coming to Brazil as a servant to serve the needy.

Steve & Carol Smith - The Smiths’ mission is to help catalyze church planting movements in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and beyond through the spiritual renewal of leaders, the training of national missionaries, and the strategic use of compassion ministries.

Gary & Ruth Stephens – The Stephens’ ministry is preparing seminary students, both men and women, who will make a difference in the                 Cameroonian church and culture.

Dick & Beverly Young – The Youngs are church planting in Uruguay and work with the ministries of the international team and Rey de Paz (Christ the King church) in Montevideo where the Rambla people continue to be the most unreached people group from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego; only one-tenth of one percent are believers!

Other Missions Organizations

CONVERGE PacWest – We support District Mission Ministries, Church Planting and Related Programs.

Central Valley Vision Project – The focus of this project is to reach the Latino population of the Valley. Kingsburg First Baptist Church hired Martine Medina (church planter from Delano) to catalyze a Hispanic church on the campus that will access the children’s and youth ministries.       Donations from churches will help support his family so he can serve as a full-time pastor.
