Children’s Ministry

Sunday mornings our loving staff will enable your kids to experience God through fun Bible learning, creative activities, games, and much more. Nursery care is available every Sunday for little ones under age 2 where they encounter God’s love through our volunteers and enjoy playing with others, toys, hugs, an snack, and clean diapers when needed. A class for 2 year olds through TK takes place during the English service each week when kids are dismissed to classes. Kinder-6th grade can attend Discovery Chapel (our children’s church program) during English worship service, except the first Sunday of the month when children stay in the service to learn and participate in Communion. Your kids will open their Bibles and get comfortable exploring God’s Word, finding key passages, and memorizing scripture.
Summer Camp takes place in June or July each year but the fundraising happens year-round. Summer camp is a place where kids from many churches come together and learn to worship God, study God’s Word together, get to know kids and leasers from their local church, and witness other kids accept Christ and get to know Him as “their” Lord and Savior.

Jr. High & High School Ministry

Calvary Baptist has dynamic youth ministry activities that help teens and pre-teens discover a venturous walk with Christ. They meet on Sunday mornings and mid-week. Most gatherings usually feature inspiring talks, exciting videos, games/activities and a chance to meet new friends through small group times. Our Sunday morning time at 10:00 am focuses on studying the Bible and provides a time of challenge and relevance.  During the week students meet for Youth Group on Wednesday nights, 6-8pm. We have special events like retreats, missions opportunities, summer camp, swim parties, concerts, and other activities that provide a great time of interaction and spiritual growth. We encourage the kids to get involved in our church’s ministries, see some ideas below!

  • Children’s Ministry: Assist a Sunday school teacher or be a helper in the nursery, 2’s & 3’s or 4’s & Kinders classes.
